The hotel is almost like a small holiday village; it is in typical island style consisting of four separate characteristic buildings all surrounded by a spacious shaded garden. The beach of Fetovaia, a crescent of fine white sand, is only 400m from the hotel.
The hotel cuisine will satisfy the gourmets amongst you offering a varied choice of traditional and international dishes. Other facilities include a small bar, children's play area, solarium, bicycle shed and private car park.
In the garden you will find covered verandas for sitting out in the evening and having a relaxing drink while you inhale the heady fragrance of the maquis as the evening cools down.
If you feel that even the short walk to the beach is too strenuous for you then the delightful swimming pool with a jacuzzi facility in the garden will solve your problem. You need only step out of your room to reach the pool for a refreshing dip.
The hotel rooms have been recently refurbished and have all modern comforts. All have complete en-suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, direct dialling telephone, safe and colour TV with satellite programmes. Several of our rooms have a private terrace and others have private entrances directly onto the garden.
Down at the beach you will find complete assistance at the bathing establishment "Pino Solitario". Here you can rent sun loungers and beach umbrellas and use the private facilities available to the Montemerlo's clients.
The beach bar also has a self-service restaurant where hotel guests have special reductions.
Its proprietors, the Palmieri family, run the hotel.
