The Hotel Capo Sud was originally built in 1955 by the Di Puccio family, who still manage it today. Since then it has been enlarged and renovated several times, but the warm, discreet and friendly welcome has never changed.
The hotel has forty rooms, all equipped with free air conditioning, located in small villas set within the large 10,000 sqm garden overlooking the sea. These little houses are called: la Palma, l'Eucaliptus, il Sole, l'Aleatico, la Luna, i Pini, le Mimose, l'Usignolo, il Pittosforo, il Riccio and la Salvia Marina; their names were inspired by their particular locations amid the Mediterranean vegetation surrounding the hotel.
The main restaurant is located in the central building of the hotel: our cuisine offers wholesome dishes, with a choice of seafood specialities every day.
One of the features most appreciated by our Guests is the proximity to the sea. From the terrace where breakfast is served, near the water-lily pond, three paths lead down to the beach, one of the most peaceful on Elba even during the months when the island is busiest.
The beach is reserved for our Guests. Adults and children can relax and swim safely in the pool and in the sea under the supervision of our lifeguards. The private beach with sun umbrellas and loungers is always included in the price.
The Hotel has an agreement offering discounted ferry fares.
