The hotel is situated exactly in the center of the Biodola Gulf, the most exclusive beach of the island, positioned in the national Parc of the Tuscan Archipelago and therefore surrounded by mediterranean vegetation and woods.
The beach, of fine white sand, is framed by cliffs on the right and the left side and so even those who do not like the sand to much can find their own ideal little place. The Hotel is just 200 meters away from the sea and disposes of an equipped private beach reserved for our guests, not included in the rate, where it is also possible to rent kayaks and pedalos.
The waters are cristal clear and the Biodola beach, with the ones of Marciana Marina and Procchio, have been classified among the five cleanest areas in Italy. One reason is that there are no harbors and no waste dumping into the waters at all.
From the Hotel Casa Rosa you can easily reach Portoferraio, the major town of the island, just 6 km far away.
The Scaglieri creek, with its bars, restaurants and small shops (selling a bit of everything) is only 500 meters away from the hotel.
The Hotel Casa Rosa disposes of 38 rooms, all recently renovated, with television, telephone, air-conditioning, private bathrooms and most of them have a balcony with sea view. The hotel disposes also of a large private parking, a shaded parc, a panoramic swimmingpool with solarium, a tennis court, table tennis, a playground for children and a special little kitchen where 'momies' can prepare themselves the meals for their children.
On the large panoramic terrace our guests can enjoy a drink from one of our bars, watching the stunning sunsets.
The kitchen is optimal, with a large choice, including fresh fish, specially controlled meat and delicious deserts, everything prepared by our chef. Our breakfast buffet offers a large choice, yoghurt, cereals, various jams and pastries.
Those who wish can find a private reading room, a TV-room to watch your favorite programm in company or to avoid to go back to your room, as the rooms are not all situated in a central building, but some are located in small buildings in the parc.
The Hotel could even been classified as 'farm holiday', as it disposes of vegetable and fruit cultivations and a large vineyard.
Therefore tomatoes, basil, artichocs, cucumbers, apricots, pears, figs, but overall our white house wine are of our own production, only during the harvesting period of course.
The large area (nearly 5 hectars) surrounding the Hotel and its position assure the peace and tranquillity of your holidays. The only noises you hear are the waves of the ocean, the cries of the seagulls and the wind in the trees.
