The Island of Elba, with its subtle facination, knew also how to charm one of the most famous lyrical singers of this century, Tancredi Pasero.
He retired at Spartaia, naming his villa Désirée, in the memory of the romantic love story between Napoleon and the enchanting daughter of Monsieur Clery, future queen of Sweden.
Somewhat later the villa was changed in an hotel, keeping up during all this time the family like hospitality. The services, in fact, are always perfect and accurate and the guests enjoy every comfort.
Our hotel is situated in the marvelous Spartaia gulf with a direct access to the private beach of fine sand, and offers also wide open spaces around the hotel.
Its position is ideal for those who love peace and the security for the children.
The resort consists of a main building with the restaurant, the bar, the reception and the rooms and two buildings hosting the family suites: the "Walewska" (on the side of the tennis court) and the "Paolina" (directly on the sea).
All the rooms and suites dispose of numerous services like color TV, mini bar, panoramic terrace, direct dial telephone.
The hotel offers half or full board service.
The Kitchen serves local delights and delicious international dishes, accompanied by famous wines. The breakfast is served as a buffet, lunch and dinner are "à la carte".
