Hotel Sardi is a charming family-run hotel located in Pomonte, a small, characteristic village on the western side of Isola d’Elba just a few metres from the crystal-clear sea, a peaceful pebble beach and the striking granite cliffs that plunge into pristine waters of incredible transparency.
At the foot of the mountains, it is ideal for enjoying a wide range of outdoor sports and trekking activities along trails immersed in Mediterranean nature. Those who choose to spend a holiday on Isola d’Elba will find Pomonte to be a welcoming tourist destination on a human scale, ideal for recharging among the waves of the sea and the scents of the mountains.
The hotel has 25 comfortable rooms, all with private bathrooms with shower cubicle, hairdryer and courtesy set, satellite TV, minibar for guests’ free use, individually controlled air conditioning, safe and free Wi-Fi (some with balcony and sea view).
It also offers: Bar with colour TV, Sun terrace, Free parking, Bicycle garage, free mountain bike hire and E-bike hire for a fee.
The mild climate makes off-season stays particularly pleasant, whether for a simple relaxing holiday or for individual and group sports, also with the assistance of specialised guides with whom the Hotel is in contact: Diving, Trekking, Mountain Biking and Sea Kayaking.
Following the trails that lead through the Tuscan Archipelago National Park to the summit of Monte Capanne, you can explore one of the island’s most striking and lush valleys.
At Hotel Sardi a good day starts in the morning... The day begins with a delicious and generous buffet breakfast where guests can enjoy excellent homemade cakes, especially the homemade jam tarts prepared by Mrs Odetta, as well as our delicious handmade desserts and a corner specially dedicated to those who prefer savoury foods.
Our BAR is open every day, fully available to guests, from 07:00 to 20:30. You can enjoy a cappuccino on the terrace, be tempted at lunchtime by a quick snack with a light lunch including schiaccine, sandwiches, tasty cold dishes, delicious desserts and fresh fruit salads, or sip a cocktail prepared by our Barman in the sea-view lounge while enjoying spectacular sunsets with Corsica in the background.
And for dinner? In your room you will find a list of restaurants and pizzerias with which we have established a network of special agreements, both in Pomonte and in nearby villages. We are pleased to work with these establishments, which offer a discount for guests staying at our hotel.
