Surrounded by Mediterranean scrub, directly on the sand and gravel beach of Margidore in Lacona, stands the Casa del Golfo residence.
Twenty-five apartments, all with views of Golfo Stella, surrounded by peace and quiet, feature a covered masonry terrace, equipped with table and chairs, sun lounger and deck chairs.
Carefully furnished, they are equipped with a telephone and TV connection. The residence also has a coin-operated laundry with ironing facilities and a small bar serving cold dishes, open from 1 June to 15 September.
The beach below is free; guests of Casa del Golfo can also use a beach service consisting of one beach umbrella and two deck chairs for a fee. The services are completed by an unguarded private car park and the possibility of bringing pets upon specific request.
The residence is five kilometres from Portoferraio and eleven kilometres from Capoliveri. Within a two-kilometre area, there are restaurants, pizzerias and shops of all kinds.
On the nearby Lacona beach there are sports schools and equipment for hire, from motorbikes to diving gear. For tennis players, there is a court in the immediate vicinity.
