Originally the summer residence of a wealthy Florentine family, the building dates back to the early 1900s and today offers comfortable apartments suitable for 2 to 6 guests.
Each apartment has an independent entrance, private bathroom with shower, free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, telephone, private parking space with remote-controlled access and a private terrace or garden furnished with table and chairs.
At the residence, guests can enjoy breakfast at the snack bar or choose salads and sandwiches to enjoy in the garden, beneath the palm or pine trees. The bar is also ideal for an aperitif at sunset overlooking the Gulf of Portoferraio.
The convenient location of Residence Hotel Villa Mare means that everything needed for a seaside holiday is close at hand. Within just 50–100 metres there are a mini-market, bazar, free beach areas, beach clubs, a sailing centre, restaurants and pizzerias.
Residence Hotel Villa Mare has special agreements with all the ferry companies, as well as with beach clubs and boat, car, scooter and bicycle rental services.
The residence is open from Easter until October, making it a convenient choice for a holiday on Elba Island throughout much of the season.
